Stop the Cheating: Hold Activision Accountable for Call of Duty's Broken Anti-Cheat
Anyone that plays Call of Duty knows—almost every match is crawling with cheaters. Wallhacks, aimbots, and blatant abuse of third-party tools have become the norm. Activision’s so-called anti-cheat system, Ricochet, has been ineffective at best. At this point, “cheater-free lobbies” feel like a myth.
High-profile events like the World Series of Warzone were dominated by suspected cheaters, with zero meaningful response. Meanwhile, other game developers have taken legal action against cheat creators, enforced mass bans, and implemented real deterrents.
Activision? Just more empty promises, flashy trailers, and an in-game store that increasingly targets younger players—despite Call of Duty being rated M17+.
We, the community, are tired of being ignored while paying $70–100 per release. We demand:
- Transparent and effective anti-cheat enforcement
- Real consequences for cheaters and cheat developers
- Better moderation and age-appropriate monetization practices
- Public reporting on cheating bans and enforcement actions
Call of Duty could be the gold standard again. Right now? It’s a cash grab wrapped around broken gameplay.
If you're tired of the lies, the cheaters, and the disrespect, sign this petition and let Activision know—we’re not buying it anymore.
