Oppose removing on-street parking from Granville Street in Marpole

The City of Vancouver and TransLink are proposing to strip on-street parking in the morning and afternoon on both sides of the street on Granville Street in Marpole. They’re also proposing to remove parking on the east side of the 8600 block, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

These proposals will negatively impact small businesses on Granville Street, and make the Marpole commercial district a less pleasant place to walk, shop and access products and services. 

The additional removal of on-street parking in the morning and afternoon in off-peak times on both sides of the street will make Granville Street into a highway.
