Stop the Burnt Oak CPZ

The Issue

Barnet Council have decided to proceed with a CPZ in Burnt Oak following an informal consultation with residents, they received only 14 responses asking for a cpz out of 71 people who responded to the survey, this is only 19%. This quite clearly does not represent the majority of the residents within the area.

This will have a hugely negative impact on the local schools, to impose restrictions from 8am - 5pm will cause vast amounts of issues with pickup and drop off, not to mention the impact this will have on the teaching staff who will no longer be able to park on the road.

This is due to come into operation on the 3rd April 2023 an we would like the council to reconsider this and engage further with the local community prior to implementation.
