Following the London Mayoral election earlier this month, the campaign team have moved swiftly to make contact with new Mayor, Sadiq Khan. With former Mayor Boris Johnson insisting that AFC Wimbledon's plans go to a Public Inquiry, the views held by Mr Khan are now significant. Supporters will be aware that we have attempted to sit down with Labour's Mr Khan on several occasions but all efforts to date have been in vane. Now he is in the job, we will be renewing our requests for a conversation to discuss the current plans, and the future of the stadium.
