Stop the British Horseracing Industry abandoning retired racehorses as a result of inadequately funding those who care for Thoroughbreds in need. 

The British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre (BTRC) were the first charity in Europe established over 30 years ago to protect the welfare of retired racehorses and remains the largest centre that cares for the majority of the UK’s Thoroughbreds who are found in a vulnerable state and has helped hundreds of horses over the years. 

BTRC is now faced with the possibility of closure to the lack of financial support from the racing industry.
