Hello Save Gloucestershire campaign supporter,
Thank you for your ongoing support, although we have been a bit quiet we are still here and will keep you updated as things arise.
We need your help in completing this survey of residents views from Gloucestershires County Council https://haveyoursaygloucestershire.uk.engagementhq.com/gloucestershire-county-council-local-government-reorganisation-survey?preview=true
A lot has happened over the past few months with a new set of Councillors and a new council leader at Gloucestershire.
The council is now exploring options for One Gloucestershire as well as an East West split of our county. This is to ensure which ever option progresses they have a plan. That means the risk of a break up of the county, with all the added costs and disruption remains.
The councils residents survey is now open, this survey does not directly ask for a view on the proposals and is not being classed as a consultation but it feeding into the councils reorganisation plans and therefore we must tell the council what you think is best for Gloucestershire.
Please can we ask a favour on this very HOT weekend, take a minute in the shade to fill out the short survey and tell them you support Gloucestershire staying united!
It will likely take just a few minutes to compete the survey and although the survey avoids the question of which option is you prefer, there in a free text box where you can write whatever you wish to say.
That’s the place to make any comments you wish to make regarding your views on splitting up Gloucestershire. Whether it’s about cost residents, disruption to services, loss of unified identify or any other of the many reason, this is a chance to have a say!
The link to the councils website and the very short survey are here: https://haveyoursaygloucestershire.uk.engagementhq.com/gloucestershire-county-council-local-government-reorganisation-survey?preview=true
It really won’t take long to complete and your help could make a big difference.
Thank You
