On June 24, 2025 the Boonsboro Planning Commission discussed a proposed 20-year Concept Plan for the Graystone Development Project that was presented by T. Wesley Poss of Verdant Development Group for his vision of what the development of the Lakin, TT&K and Flook Annexed properties could look like if they were fully developed. 

The town of Boonsboro has released the following statement regarding a new housing prihect that is slated to bring over 1900 homes. "Mr. Poss is hosting 2 public meetings to share his presentation of the proposed Graystone Development Project at the Boonsboro American Legion (710 North Main Street):

📌 Monday, August 11 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Please note that this 20-year Concept Plan has not been approved by the Town."
