Cat Island Road Neighbors and the DeFuniak Springs Community -- Our neighborhood and town is about to be supersized. The Bluffs at Juniper will add 416 new residences to our street if approved by the Walton County FL Board of Commissioners.

This will add over 832 more vehicles and over 1,248 people to our street. The only entrance is on Cat Island Road so all the traffic will be coming on and off SR83 from there. It's hard to imagine what this amount of vehicles will do to an already crowded and hard to navigate intersection.

This development was passed by the Planning Commission at their on February 9 meeting. The next step is the Board of Commissioners. It is not on the agenda yet but will be soon, maybe even this month, so now is the time to sign this petition and voice your concerns about this project.
