Tonight, at 6 pm, Pinal County will be holding the air quality hearing for the LG Battery plant. This is a huge hurdle for LG in getting this factory approved. 

Some of you may have heard that LG has a temporary hold on the construction of the facility, having told 2 of their contractors that the project could be on hold for 6 months or up to 3 years. It's been reported also that they are reconsidering the construction of this facility due to economic conditions. But please, don't let this stop the momentum. This could be used as a smokescreen by LG to make those who are determined to stop them think it's over, when in reality, they try to sneak it in like they did to begin with. We can't let up now, when there's a potential for stopping them in sight. This air quality meeting is our best bet. If Pinal County doesn't approve it or approves it only with such strong filtering systems that it would become cost prohibitive for LG, then they may abandon the plans and move on.
