In 2018 the Heritage value of Brumbies living in the Kosci National Park was recognised in Legislation, to protect that value by ensuring sustainably managed mobs continue to live in the Park.
At this time, the current management plan provides that there should be no less than 3,000 Brumbies living in the park, for the population to be sustainable and to ensure the Heritage value is protected.
The State Labor Government have removed no less than 800 Brumbies from the Park in 2023 by rehoming some and have sent many to cruel knackeries, this is not recognising the Heritage value of Brumbies, especially when there are already well below 3,000 brumbies living in the park
So, we must act now to stop the destruction of Heritage Kosci brumbies.
Since 2018, Brumby opponents who failed in their attempts to set aside the Legislation, have been trying to overturn decisions made by the Parliament of New South Wales, to protect our Heritage brumbies, by using rhetoric, claims of false numbers and false claims that Brumbies cause damage to native flora and fauna, all of which have been proven to be untrue, and why they failed.
The NSW Government in power, under pressure from the same extremist environmentalists and anti brumby faction, want to aerial shoot brumbies, not seen in NSW since 2001 when it was found to be inhumane and cruel the Guy Fawkes massacre.
It is impossible to humanely shoot a moving, running Brumby from a moving helicopter, or platform. It is an abominable and cruel proposition. We are opposed to any shooting of Heritage brumbies, but aerial shooting is the last straw.

Unless we oppose this outrageous variation of the current management plan sought by the government to appease the extremist environmentalists, brumbies are at risk of being cruelly aerially shot or ground shot
There are not the numbers in the park claimed by the extremist environmentalists there are less than the required 3,000
