We have been advised by our "source" that DELWP,  Department of Environment Land Water and Planning,  under instructions from Parks Victoria and the Minister for  Environment Minister,  Lily D'Ambrosio,  are to commence aerial shooting Brumbies in the Victorian Alpine Park.

It is what Matthew Jackson, the CEO of Parks Victoria foreshadowed during his recent evidence given at the PEAC Inquiry, but, what is  shocking, is this move is in spite of loud opposition to Brumbies being shot from nearly quarter million people who have signed Petitions opposing the shooting, plus 91% of voters in a poll of nearly 4,000 people who said NO to shooting Brumbies.

Will Minister D'Ambrosio be remembered and go down in history for her grossly CRUEL and INHUMANE decision to aerially shoot mobs of Brumbies including heavily in foal mares with dependent foals and newly born foals, in the same way, as those who were responsible for the GUY FAWKES MASSACRE?

This decision is contrary to Pestsmart model codes of practice recommending  "culling" not take place during foaling season due to animal welfare. We are opposed to any shooting of Brumbies, but shooting in foaling season is abhorrantly cruel.

If these hits take place LILY D'AMBROSIO will be remembered for the cruelty she endorses.
