Brumby Groups must be involved in the decision making process concerning the future of our unique wild horse. Brumbies have been been living in the environment between 140 to 200 years in Australia.

Brumbies have been part of our social and cultural history and cannot be simply "exterminated" from existence because of a trend to kill introduced species. We must manage, not exterminate introduced species, it is our responsibility. 

Our unique wild horses bloodlines will be lost forever if present plans on foot are implemented. 

We call upon the Victorian Government to enact Legislation, "The Victorian Brumby Heritage Act" to recognise and protect our unique Wild Horses in all key areas of Victoria. Key Brumby Groups must be permitted to nominate a representative to participate in Community Group decision making about Brumby Management and involved in the implementation of Management.
