Getting a dog is not like getting a plant. It is a total life commitment and should not be taken lightly. Their lives are  precious. They give us unconditional love 24/7 and the least we can do is give them the same. For example, there are many dogs that are service animals whose jobs are literally to help those with disabilities. Like how awesome is that? They have the most honorable and responsible profession that I can think of... and they’re dogs. Service/guide dogs are all over the world doing good deeds, and they bring so much joy to people’s faces. Dogs are also the best emotional support in general.

Whenever you need cheering up or to pass leisure time, look up dog photos or videos. For emotional support, they are truly the best. You can tell more to a dog than to a human being and they understand you and never judge. When you are sad, they cuddle up next to you. They are the best listeners.Dogs, when they’re your pets, also grow up with you. They’re family.They’re so ingrained in our lives, more than we ever deserve.Dogs are also extremely loyal. They will do anything for their owners and care for their owners so much.Dogs are a man's best friend.

Dogs do not deserve to be tortured and eaten. Please, please help stop this barbaric act of the dog festival in Yulin, China. I humbly beg of you.
