Stop the ban on broadcasting Saving Our Wild Isles

Stop the ban on broadcasting Saving Our Wild Isles

The Issue

The BBC has decided to not broadcast episode 6 of its Wild Isles series due to fears of a backlash from right wing media. The evidence the programme is documenting is irrefutable, the reasons for the UKs decline is irrefutable.

The BBC's mission is defined byRoyal Charter: to act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educateand entertain.

To not broadcast scientific data puts the BBC in breach of its Royal Charter and the decision should be reversed. Stopping climate change and the biodiversity crisis will not be achieved by hiding the science.
