I am a student at East Brunswick High School (EBHS), and I've experienced first-hand how artificial intelligence (AI) websites like ChatGPT, Khan Academy AI Tutor, and Quizlet play a pivotal role in my education. These tools allow me to delve deeper into subjects, providing personalized support beyond what I can receive in a crowded classroom. They offer instant feedback on practice tests and help me create effective study aids like flashcards, making my learning process both efficient and enjoyable.

Recently, I learned that EBHS plans to ban numerous AI websites next school year. This decision could significantly derail not only my academic performance but also that of countless students who depend on these technologies to excel. AI tools serve as an extension of our educational framework; they are more than just supplementary resources but essential assets that enhance our understanding of complex concepts.

Numerous studies back the educational benefits of AI. A 2022 report by the Center for Digital Education found that students who used AI-driven tools reported an average grade improvement of 15%. Moreover, the adaptability of these platforms accommodates diverse learning styles, crucial for students who otherwise struggle in conventional settings.

I understand the school's concerns regarding the safe usage of AI.
