Stop the Arena Virtual Town Hall

Alexandria, Va. - January 18, 2024: The Coalition to Stop the Arena at Potomac Yard will hold a virtual town hall to inform the public and counteract the false narrative about the arena being pushed by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin (R), Alexandria Mayor Justin Wilson (D), and the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP), a city-funded business promotion authority and leading proponent of this boondoggle project.
Join us to hear an independent economic analysis of the project by University of Maryland Economics Professor Dennis Coates and ask him questions. Registrants can participate in a discussion with Coalition members and partners about the project’s impacts on the community and taxpayers in Alexandria and Virginia.
