COURT HEARING 10-3-22 People of New York v. Andrea Nussinow CANCELLED
10-3-22 People of New York v. Andrea Nussinow Court Hearing in the Town of Ghent, N.Y. has been cancelled again by Judge BRUNO due to a last minute request by the Defense. It's been reported the Defense Attorney requested another delay because tomorrow October 4th at sunset is the beginning of Yom Kippur, a religious holiday.
There are several reasons the court should not have granted the Defense another delay in the Court Hearing schedule. 1. Previous case law involving religious holidays and denials of continuances. The Defense was aware October 3, 2022 Court Hearing was scheduled months ago and requested a delay at the last minute "incorrectly" claiming a religious holiday. 2. The Defense has requested and has been granted multiple delays in the past. 3. The public demands this serious Animal Cruelty criminal case is prosecuted without further delay 5. Yom Kippur, a Jewish holiday does not begin until tomorrow at sunset, not today. 5. The prosecution has failed to certify The People of New York v. Andrea Nussinow is ready for trial despite numerous requests by the People.
It appears Judge Bruno, Paul Czajka, DA and James Carlucci, ADA have little interest in protecting the New York Thoroughbred racehorses, or prosecuting Offenders arrested for injuring, torturing and starving dozens of Thoroughbred racehorses participating in the lucrative New York Thoroughbred Breeding business funded with millions of taxpayers dollars.
Will Paul Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County, N.Y prosecute Nussinow, or pave the way for New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal (NYMIR) to reward Nussinow for allegedly injuring, torturing, starving and killing with a financial settlement using a fraudulent insurance scheme ?
The next update will provide some clarity to the public re: Paul Czajka, DA's refusal to prosecute Nussinow, a New York Thoroughbred Breeder, or to protect the racehorses. These documents will include all donations made to Paul Czajka, District Attorney re-election campaign from participants in the multi billion dollar New York Thoroughbred Racing and Breeding industry, and others, why James Carlucci, ADA was likely selected to prosecute Nussinow, the significance of The People of New York v. Andrea Nussinow being transferred to the Town of Ghent, N.Y. and the Federal lawsuit filed against Columbia County for the alleged actions ( inaction) of Paul Czajka, DA and Columbia Greene Humane Society, and employees Ron Perez, and Lee DeLisle, both defendants a clear conflict of interest following a "botched" Grand Jury Hearing in 2017.
The People demand Offenders are prosecuted for alleged crimes not rewarded with Taxpayer dollars through fraudulent insurance schemes. This Animal Cruelty case has cost the Taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and wasted resources and the horses and other animals are still not protected in Columbia County or apparently at New York Thoroughbred Breeding Farms.
