As you may know, On February 1st, 2024, 8 year-old, Adalynn Pierce, was hit and killed whenever getting onto the school bus. As soon as I had found out what had happened to our sweet, beautiful, Jesus loving, Addy… I was crushed… but I knew there was something I could do. In the midst of everything going on, not only I, but all of you helped me get Addy’s Law in effect. 

Knowing that Adalynn donated her heart, along with her organs, makes me KNOW that Addy’s Law is a great way to honor her, and keep her legacy alive. This is her way to help others, even if she is not currently present on this earth. Not only does this law PREVENT your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, ETC, to lose their life… this also brings justice to our family for Adalynn. We did not fight this hard, and come this far all for nothing, Adalynn Christine Pierce has left a huge remark on this world, one that cannot be wiped away… EVER. 

With this being said, I need everyone to get this signed… Addy’s Law has been discussed and others think that Addy’s Law should be undone. A few representatives think that the $1,000 fine for running a stopped school bus is too much, which is confusing… because a funeral costs more than a $1,000 fine, not only does it cost more money, it costs a whole life. If you can’t sign this to give Addy her proper justice, sign this for your little ones, sign this for someone who crosses the street getting onto the bus, sign this for someone you love. We need signatures FAST. Not only have I worked so hard on getting this Law to become effective, but you all have, everyone who’s signed, everyone who’s shared, everyone who has supported… our fight is not over, and it will not be until this baby gets her JUSTICE.
