Demonstration on 12/7

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for your commitment to the Freedom to Read. We will keep taking signatures on this petition until at least the vote by the regional board on 12/10. We will also be having a demonstration near the Columbia County Library on 12/7 (Saturday) at 10am to bring more awareness to this issue. As far as public comments on 12/10, we are outnumbered by the pro-censorship folks. So, please continue to share the petition and follow the link bit.ly/GCHLguidelines  for more information about how to email the Regional Board with your thoughts. Also, if you know anyone in Burke, Lincoln, and Warren Counties please share this information with them. This will affect their libraries as well but I feel like they are not getting all of the information. Once again, thanks so much for your help in supporting the freedom to read at our local libraries!
