The Issue

I strongly feel that something needs to be done about the shortages of ADHD medication in the UK.

There are many children and adults like myself in the UK that rely on having their ADHD medication to help control their symptoms such as difficulties paying attention and focusing, feeling anxious, depression, memory problems and impulsivity which can lead to the individual being physically injured.

Not having our essential medication means that our performances in school, for school exams or in work in affected.

I plan to propose this petition to the Government and the NHS. I l will also be sending this petition to the pharmaceuticals companies in the uk.

This has gone on for long time enough and something needs to be done.

I was diagnosed a few years ago with ADHD. All my life I struggled. I struggled in school and did poorly on my exams due to not being diagnosed and medicated. For most of my adult life I suffered with depression and other mental health issues that were made difficult by not being diagnosed and medicated. But once I was diagnosed and medicated it made a huge difference to how I felt, how I thought and how I coped with every day life.

Please feel free to share your experiences with problems getting your ADHD medication and shortages of ADHD medication in the comments.
