Trucks and heavy equipment with Okeefe Drilling are now on site at 14815 Hwy 200 E, tapping two wells on the property.
As this advances, our community has the right to know who is behind these actions, who is shaping our future without our consent, and who we are being forced to fight for the health of the Blackfoot River.
The documents show how this project came together: the county zoning application lists local Kirk Mace as the authorized representative, and when looking at the zoning application, well permit, and deed together, they link Mace → Riverside Contracting as the local contractor → RCI Properties, Inc. as the new corporate landowner — with Thomas R. Clark, acting as trustee of The Thomas R. Clark Revocable Trust, as the seller who conveyed the property to RCI.
With two wells now being tapped for their DEQ mining application, this is the time for our community to act! Please update all those who care, sign the petition and urge the County Commissioners to protect the Blackfoot River.
We will also be holding another community meeting for anyone who couldn’t attend the first one— Monday, December 8th at 5:30 PM at the KettleHouse Taproom in Bonner — where we will cover everything discussed at the last meeting and share new updates as they unfold.
