Thank you for supporting this petition to Stop 5G Towers at our school in Union County, NC. We need your help as there is more work to be done. Please read this entire update as we have several action items. The children at UCPS need you! Voting to approve the Tower plan (at Rea View ES) was taken off the consent agenda at the BOE meeting on October 3rd. The matter will be voted on during the November 8th Board of Education Meeting. We have also learned that Vogue Towers, LLC (the Tower Development Company from which the School Board is considering this proposal) has big plans for the schools in Union County. A tower on every school yard in Western Union County! We need you to ACT now to stop this from happening.

SHARE - Share this Petition to “Stop 5G Cell Tower Construction on School Property”. We need more signatures to show the School Board the opposition to this tower.
CONTACT - Write the members of the Union County School Board and your local government officials. Tell them you oppose 5G cell towers on public school property. Taking risks with children's health is not an option, no matter what problem it solves. Provide your reasons and perspective. We are told this matters, and local leaders need to hear from their constituents.

BE SEEN - Show Up and Wear Red! We need your support at the next Board of Education Meeting on Wednesday, November 8th at 7:00pm located at 721 Brewer Drive in Monroe. The color red means STOP; red lights, stop signs and it also stands for the Rea View Red Wolves. Rea View is the first school facing this issue, but if the tower passes, will not be the last. Wear Red and hold a sign to STOP THE TOWER during the meeting. Make our presence undeniable and clear what the parents and community members of Union County Public Schools want.
