Onyx+East has proposed a rezoning of 39 acres at 199th & Monon from low-density AG-SF1 zoning to a high-density Planned Unit Development (PUD) to build 125 clustered homes.

As neighbors directly impacted by this proposal, we strongly oppose the rezoning based on:

• Incompatibility with existing neighborhood character
• Overburdened infrastructure on 199th Street
• Potential harm to the Monon Trail and surrounding green space
• Lack of community need or demonstrated demand
• Negative impact on property values and long-term land use planning

We urge the Westfield Plan Commission to deny this rezoning request and preserve the zoning that protects our rural-suburban community.
