Stop Tescos Selling eggs from caged birds

Stop Tescos Selling eggs from caged birds
Why this petition matters
I was so shocked when I went shopping last week to still see eggs from caged birds being sold in Tescos.
Both Morrisons and Sainsburys have moved forward with their progressive policies in stopping this cruel and unnecessary practice.
Caged hens only have a slightly larger space that the old battery hens but manufacturers want you to think that this is somehow kinder.
The reality is there can be up to 20 hens in 1 sq metre and the hens are therefore unable to exhibit natural behaviours such as dust bathing as well as other social behaviours.
There is no need for this practice to continue in order for people to eat eggs - If you can just take a few seconds to register your support by signing this petition we can get Tescos to take notice and make a change for the better.
We need to speak up for animals - we need to be their voice .
"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.’ Please help. Thank you
