Taylor Leiva (aka Taylor Judelson) and her father, David Judelson from The Colony, TX, continue to commit crimes against citizens and animals without justice being served. Multiple dogs have died, gone missing, been injured, and contracted illnesses while in the care of Taylor and her father, David. Not only does this cause distress, pain, and harm to the animal and owner, but to neighbors, citizens, and other animals in and around our community. 

Taylor Leiva/Judelson and David Judelson are currently being investigated for multiple offenses to animals-including numerous dog deaths. Dogs are being killed and nobody has been charged. Dogs are disappearing from her care, leaving owners and rescues with unanswered questions, empty arms and hearts. 

Animals and owners aren't the only ones bearing the weight of this illegal business. Chasing down lost dogs and conducting numerous investigations cost the tax payers money. It requires additional resources from animal services and the police department, too. By illegally operating an unlicensed boarding facility from several locations,(where stray dogs and client dogs are boarding in the same houses) illnesses and diseases are spreading rapidly. This is costing some dog's their lives and adding more expenses for uninformed dog owners. 

Making matters worse, strays and customer dog's are boarded together and are not required to be spayed, neutered, vaccinated, or evaluated by a vet. Multiple dogs have escaped Taylor and her father's homes, where more animals and people are exposed, creates further detriment to the community-potentially creating unwanted litters.  Our shelter and legitimate rescues are already overwhelmed by the number of strays and animals surrendered daily-without Taylor's illegal business adding to those numbers. Taylor has young children living in the same house with all of these diseased and ill animals-putting their health at risk, too.

Taylor, in particular, has been investigated for quite sometime and many citizens of The Colony and surrounding cities have voiced their concerns and experiences for months now on social media, clearly establishing a pattern as a repeat offender. Taylor is not licensed to operate a boarding and training facility. She has fraudulently obtained dogs, customers, money, and supplies from rescues and local citizens-all of which is well documented. 

Tidus, a gorgeous male husky, has been the latest known death at the hands of Taylor and her father, David. Tidus was boarded with Taylor while his owner was out of the country and upon his return, was told the dog bit Taylor and escaped. When questioned about the incident by animal control, Taylor changed her story-saying her father had the dog and was afraid he hurt Tidus and was why she lied about the dog bite. Taylor changed her story again, blaming her father and saying she thought he killed Tidus. Her father confessed to leaving Tidus out all night and said he died. He said he was told by Taylor to get rid of the body and he threw Tidus in a dumpster. Taylor continued the cover up and continued lying to the owner and authorities. She has since changed her story, again-even after her father's confession....now blaming a child.

Dogs are dying and more people and animals are continuing to be put at risk every day Taylor and David continue to operate their illegal business. It's time we take a stand and demand justice. The Colony is a small city in Texas with a big heart. Let's keep it from becoming a city that sweeps animal abuse and bloodshed under the rug. Taylor Leiva and dog killings are not what our city wants to be known for, unless it's for putting her behind bars.

Please help us get justice for Tidus and his owner and sign the petition asking The Colony Police Department and The Colony City Council members to enforce the city and state laws- holding Taylor Leiva /Taylor Judelson, her father, David Judelson and their company accountable for their illegal and immoral actions. The numerous citations she recently received have not been enough to stop her or her father.
