Stop Taking Cash at Toll nakas on Mumbai Entry Points...!!!

Stop Taking Cash at Toll nakas on Mumbai Entry Points...!!!
The Issue
Enough is Enough...!!!
There are millions of vehicles entering and exiting Mumbai City each day. All other tolls of Maharashtra has been closed down except the five entry points, namely,
1. Vashi
2. Thane
3. Mulund
4. Dahisar
5. Airoli
A simple math of 1 million vehicle to and fro will tell you that it does not take 15 years to recover the cost of construction and maintenance of the roads and bridges that we are talking about.
Why is it that they only accept cash, even for the monthly passes. The clear idea is to generate black money for local, state and national politicians. The safest place that they will use this money is election. Other uses could be drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, terror funding, anti-national activities and so on.
On one hand, government is asking its citizens to declare black money and be a part of transparent system. On the other hand, they amass crores of rupees EACH DAY in black. At least they should collect all the toll via cheque, pre-paid cards or credit cards.
In other countries, Dubai, for e.g. the vehicles don't even have to slow down for paying tolls. Every time a car passes through a toll pillar, balance from the prepaid card is deducted via the RFID.
It saves a lot of peak hour traffic being formed on both sides of toll nakas. Indian Space Technology can built reusable rocket launchers but fails to make automatic toll pillars for smooth traffic movement. All this is deliberately not done to escape accountability and remain opaque in the system by our beloved politicians.
If Maharashtra or Central government is really transparent, then they should take steps from not letting these toll collecting companies accept cash and generate crores of cash money each day.
Friends, I need your support to deliver this petition to Chief Minister's office and demand strong action on this issue. Please Sign and ask all your family members and friends to do the same.
In an average household, we have 4 smartphones i.e. 4 email accounts. Even if 50 lakh families sign, chief minister is staring at 2 crore signatures.
Let them make accountable and transparent first. If the system is transparent, the people automatically would be. Stop taking cash at toll booths.
P.S.: Ideally they should stop taking the tolls, but from the "white" collection of tolls, once we have a number, we can politely request the government to do so.
