The Issue

Our residences are a cherished part of our lives where we are raising our children, who deserve to grow up in a safe and calm environment. The proximity of this facility is not just alarming; it feels like an intrusion into our personal space and raises several concerns about safety, health, and environmental impact.

Placing a wireless facility so close to residential homes presents potential health risks associated with radiofrequency (RF) emissions. Numerous studies have shown that prolonged exposure to RF emissions may pose health risks, especially to children, whose developing bodies are more vulnerable. We cannot ignore the potential danger this may impose on our family and neighbors.

Aside from health concerns, this facility would be a visual blight on our neighborhood's skyline, potentially decreasing property values and detracting from the aesthetic appeal of our community. Residents in the area have invested not only financially but emotionally in their homes, and such a development threatens to undermine the significant efforts to maintain their property's value and the overall charm of the neighborhood.

Moreover, there has been a lack of transparency and community involvement in the decision-making process. Residents have not been adequately informed or consulted about the proposed plans by T-Mobile, marginalizing our voices and concerns. Our community deserves a chance to understand the implications of this project and voice our opinions.

We urge T-Mobile to reconsider their decision and explore alternative locations that do not impinge on residential zones. They should prioritize locations that are industrial or commercial, where the impact on residential life is minimal.

Please sign this petition to halt the planned wireless facility at 2447 Pacific Coast Highway and protect the families and communities that would be directly affected. Your signature can help ensure that corporate projects do not overshadow community welfare and health. Together, let's advocate for our neighborhood's integrity and safety.

Sincerely,
