A young greyhound fell badly during a race sponsored by Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy last Thursday evening.
At the first bend at Enniscorthy track, during the "Riverside Park Hotel Five-Two-Five Stakes" race, 2-year-old dog Backdoor Pete was knocked over and could be seen flipping over.

As well as sponsoring racing, the Riverside Park Hotel is also encouraging people to visit Enniscorthy track, describing a night at the dogs as a "great night for the whole family".
In the past three and a half years alone at Enniscorthy track, 49 dogs suffered injuries and 15 were killed.
ACTION ALERT
Urge Riverside Park Hotel to show compassion for the dogs and stop sponsoring and promoting greyhound racing.
