Israel's war on Gaza has been going on for fourteen months. Throughout that time 61,709 people have been killed and 111,780 people have been injured, the majority of whom are women and children. They were killed with US made bombs. The blood of tens of thousands of children are on our countries hands. Their lives, which had only just begun, were ripped away by the United States made bombs and bullets we continue to ship to Israel. Although there is a ceasefire currently in place, most experts believe that Israel will continue it's bombardment of Gaza once the hostages are returned. Not to mention the fact that Israel has already, on countless occasions, tried to sabotage the ceasefire, including the most recent attempt where they refused to release a group of Palestinian prisoners for four days before eventually releasing them today, the 27th of February.  Meanwhile, our bullets are still being put to use barbarically killing hundreds of civilians in the Occupied West Bank, while United States tanks are being used to tear up roads, destroying water and electricity systems in order to make the West Bank uninhabitable. We are on the wrong side of history, I will not stand for our country to continue using our taxpayer dollars to strip innocents of their lives. So I am calling on everyone who values the lives of innocent people to sign this petition calling for the United States to stop sending weapons of war to Israel.
