#KeepEyesonSudan
The nature of the war in Sudan can only be defined by a power struggle between two morally compromised factions. They collaborated in executing their coup collectively, obstructing the path to civilian transition, and thereafter engaged in fights within themselves over the perks of authority. The Rapid Support Forces militia initiated hostilities on April 15, 2023, mobilizing its troops with the objective of usurping power. According to the findings of the Sudan Conflict Observatory at Yale University report about the war in Sudan, which was formed as part of the Jeddah Negotiating Platform's activities. In addition, this is what was seen by all Sudanese during the period leading up to the war, when the militia assembled its troops and recruited mercenaries from all parts of the world in preparation of the war. The Islamists are attempting to use this war for political gain by aligning themselves with one faction, while the Forces of Freedom and Change are likewise endeavoring to do so by aligning themselves with the opposing faction. These are the facts, which some are trying to bury deep.
Efforts to deceive and create alternative narratives not only prolong the conflict, but also intensify the hardships endured by the Sudanese people and the toll it takes on their lives and well-being.
