Stop Starship Robots from Terrorizing Disabled Students at ECU

Stop Starship Robots from Terrorizing Disabled Students at ECU
The Issue
Starship Robot delivery has taken over over 80 college campuses since their implementation in 2018. The robot delivery system is not only expensive and ineffective, but dangerous to students. The delivery robots block cut curbs, cramp walkways, ram into students, and take away jobs from students and citizens.
Starship Technologies and the universities they work with, including East Carolina University, have been made aware of these concerns multiple times and have continuously failed to alleviate these issues. At this point, the only way to ensure the safety and independence of pirates of all abilities is to get this product off our campus.
I've been keeping an online record of as many incidents as possible on the Instagram account pirates_vs_starbots . Please feel free to check the account out and send in any questions, comments, concerns, or your own records.
Some other ways to help the cause is to photograph and send a report to the email safety@starship.co and/or submit accessibility concerns to https://accessibility.ecu.edu/report-an-accessibility-barrier/?referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ecu.edu%2F
Thank you so much!
