It was a big chew, but eventually this beaver fell this little aspen, ate it, and maybe even made a dam out of it. Each little branch added up and it eventually blocked the creak, and water pooled up and soon it was a pretty good size pond! Maybe felt a bit like how we do, hitting 1000 signatures today. But our work is far from over. We ask you to think about all the beavers who are needlessly denied food, forage, and the means to make a living. Or the moose that researchers have found starved, for lack of food. Anything that removes habitat, must do so for legitimate reasons. Creating pine monocultures is not one of them. Try to get some other people to sign this petition, and do whatever you can to spread the word. We've spent enough time talking to district managers, foresters and companies, trying to rationalize with them. It hasn't worked. Only our voice can do anything.
