on 4/20/2023 our lab was run over on our residential street on longhill rd in Williamsburg va. the posted speed limit is 25mph and the damage done to our poor dog was horrendous. It could have been one of our small children. accidents happen but my husband and I would like to prevent another family from going through something like this if possible. please slow down. Support our petition to have speed bumps added to longhill rd from james Blair middle school to the james city rec center so nobody has to lose someone or something they love again. there is a walking trail, a park, a middle school and multiple baseball fields. Please help us keep our neighborhood a bit safer. now is the time to do something to keep this road safe before it's too late and someone else suffers a devastating loss.
