The proposal to rezone for large scale utility-solar farms is a short-sided attempt to prepare for increased energy production without fully considering the long-term implications to the current and future residents.

The people of Golden Valley and Mohave County are deeply concerned about who will be held financially responsible for maintaining the integrity and value of the land while protecting our wildlife, soil, and ground water. We believe that bringing large scale utility-solar farms into our community is NOT for the best interest of the residents and landowners. 

As a community we are taking immediate actions to STOP the proposed energy-solar rezoning of the following parcels in district 4 with some located in FEMA designated high risk flood zone areas ; Parcel No 215-26-009, -010, and -011; 215-10-004, -005, -006, -012, -013, -029A, and 215-26-004, -007, and -012; 215-01-051
