As protests reignite across the country, a horrifying "killing machine" has been confirmed within Iran's prisons. The deaths of some young protesters in custody have been verified, including the following, while many may be hidden from the public:

• Ali Heydari (20): Wounded and abducted on Jan 8 in Mashhad; returned dead on Feb 9 with signs of severe torture and a close-range headshot.
• Abdollah Poreki (19): Died Feb 19 after only two days in custody; his body showed severe signs of torture, including fractures and burn marks.
• Ali Rahbar (33): A fitness coach from Mashhad; arrested healthy, his family was recently summoned only to "collect his body."
• Amirmohammad Alipour (16) & Mohammad Hossein Shirazi (17): Both died in Adel Abad Prison on Feb 20 after being denied hospital care for gunshot wounds sustained during their arrest.
• Taha Safari (16): Family identified his body via police photos showing catastrophic head trauma sustained while in detention.
