The Iranian regime is at a breaking point. Under the weight of U.S. and Israeli military strikes and internal instability, it has turned its violence inward to maintain a grip on power.
On March 19, the regime publicly executed Saleh Mohammadi, a 19-year-old wrestling champion and a symbol of the nationwide resistance.
Arrested during the January protests, Saleh was hanged on the fabricated charge of Moharebeh ("Waging war against God") after a sham trial and confessions extracted through torture.
This is a desperate act of intimidation. As the regime faces collapse, it is using the lives of its youth to signal that dissent carries a death sentence.
We cannot allow this brutality to be ignored while the world focuses on the military conflict. Melika Azizi and over 100 other protesters currently face capital charges and imminent execution, while tens of thousands are currently being held in sub-human conditions.
The Iranian people are standing their ground against a collapsing tyranny. Stand with them.
