In Iran's ongoing uprising, hundreds of children under 18 face dire conditions in detention amid brutal crackdowns.

- HRANA (as of Day 48, Feb 13): At least 325– (earlier aggregates noted hundreds; ongoing arrests push totals higher) children detained amid 53,000+ overall arrests. Many in enforced disappearance or incommunicado.

- Amnesty International (Jan 30 report): Children as young as 14 arbitrarily detained; at risk of torture, sexual violence, forced confessions (broadcast on state media), denial of medical care/food, unfair trials, and execution threats for protest charges.

- CHRI (Feb 12): Hundreds detained, often in adult facilities; grave risk of abuse, enforced disappearance, no family/lawyer access.

These minors endure beatings, sexual abuse, coerced "confessions," and threats of the death penalty in Revolutionary Courts. Internet blackouts hide the full scale.
