Every year Swedish government issues hundreds of hunting licenses allowing people to shoot wolves in their natural habitats. 
This issue is highly politicized in Sweden and they don’t want this bridge of animal rights to become known globally.
This yearly mass shooting has pushed the wolf population to the verge of extinction.

The issuers have even received objections from EU animal rights committee as this is going directly against their guidelines but they continue their annual hunt nonetheless.
