All WA residents are today asking themselves the same question, especially the locals in the affected area of North Fremantle, East Fremantle, and Bicton.

Not everyone has a pool to cool off in on hot summer days and many people rely heavily on the safety of our river over our shark-infested beaches. I am a mother, who lives locally and my kids and their friends rely on the river for swimming and having free fun. I want to know my kids will be safe.

That’s why I am calling for the local council and WA Government to stop dragging their feet and build a safe swimming area in the Swan River. 

By simply enclosing certain busy swimming areas with an environmentally friendly and eco-friendly safeguard that protects marine life - swimming safely in our river can be achieved...EASILY AND QUICKLY!

But again, we see local Councils and Gov't departments not able to make decisions because of red tape, and sadly, dragging their feet because of cost!

Please help us to send a clear message to local Councils and Government departments that we want ACTION fast.

We need immediate action to enclose and make SAFE our busiest local swimming areas on the Swan River URGENTLY no matter what the red tape or the cost!!!

Please sign and share EVERYWHERE you can... together we can ALL make a change to ensure safety from shark attacks in our river.

We can send a strong and clear message that Stella Berry's life was not wasted and is forever enshrined with a positive outcome, knowing that she enabled others to have the safeguard she, and all the other users of the Swan River's cool water,  should also be guaranteed.
