Stop SFL club

Stop SFL club
The Issue
During September, we had a student attempt to make a Pro-Life club within our virtual school. He continues pushing the school, hoping for a yes when he was denied in September. The Head of Student Pupil Services had said the club would interfere with the educational process or infringe upon the rights of others. The student still pushes his idea to become a club, which can fail to recognize women's rights within our school community. The student states in his blog, "Pro-abortion men have abused abortion in a way that a lot of pro-abortion women have been blind to. But everyone should be protected by men and the law, including the preborn. Male or female, liberal or conservative, pro-abortion or pro-life, all life should be protected. " This should include people's safety and not bring controversial topics into our school space. Instead, we should ensure the safety of our students and prioritize mental health. Let's get this right: the school board didn't commit an illegal act by denying the club. They wanted to ensure students' safety and continue to let them have their freedom of speech.
This petition was made to keep our school safe by not letting controversial opinions become a trend.
