Living in the serene neighborhood of Riata Rd in Alamogordo, NM, I have always cherished the purity of our environment and the safety it offers my family and neighbors. But this peace is now threatened by a proposal to dump 5,000 gallons of sewage water and 500 gallons of car wash wastewater, rife with contaminants, right in our backyards. The proposed dump site at Riata Organic Soils, located at 174 Riata Rd, is alarmingly close to our homes and our precious water supply.

I am profoundly concerned, as the presence of raw sewage and metal-laden wastewater poses significant health risks to our community. These contaminants can easily seep into our groundwater, jeopardizing our drinking water and affecting the well-being of all residents.
