Hello, my name is Alexis. I live on the Cottonwood block off Utah in Twentynine Palms, CA. On March 13, 2016, I was walking in my backyard and fell directly through the ground causing a huge hole and exposing the liquid septic tank. I immediately called my realtor and home owner about the inncident. I rent through Coldwell Roadrunner Realty here in town and they have been aware of it sense the date of the matter. The issue has not been resolved since. Since I moved in this residence 9/1/2015, the solid septic tank has been in my backyard and is covered by a temporary lid. It is on ground level and the lid does not cover the entire hole. The smell has always been here since I have lived here and now there is two open pits of septic and smell has doubled. The septic tank also needs to be pumped as well. I started getting complaints the last couple of months from my neighbors about the smell that was coming onto their property. After addressing my realtor company and my land lord several times about the matter, all the requests and complaints have been ignored and cancelled. 

I also want to make note about the water leaks at my house. We live in California and we are still in a drought. George Giannikas and Coldwell Realty apparently aren't aware of the issue. I have had water leaks since July of 2016. I have made the repairs myself in the past due to refusal. There has been many more leaks since and I no longer want to keep making repairs on a house that I am renting. My water bill is triple the amount of what it normally is.  

So I am writing this petition to help stop the odor and not let it spread through out the town. Lets get something changed so it can be fixed. It is illegal and uninhabitable to have human waste openly exposed for so long effecting citizens health and safety. Please help me fight this and change this.
