ALL FIVE ASSAM ELEPHANTS HAVE NOW REACHED TAMIL NADU !

UPDATE: ALL FIVE ASSAM ELEPHANTS HAVE NOW REACHED TAMIL NADU !

Despite serious concerns over their ownership, provenance, acquisition and welfare, all five elephants have now been transferred from Assam to Tamil Nadu temples/religious institutions.

A new report by NorthEast Now raises important questions over whether these elephants were actually donated or purchased, and the documentation surrounding their transfers.

Our petitions before the Madras High Court have not been entertained, and we are now pursuing the matter further and approaching other appropriate judicial forums.

We will continue to fight for the rescue and release of these elephants from confinement and for their right to live with dignity and freedom.

The elephants may have reached Tamil Nadu. The fight is not over.

NO ELEPHANTS IN TEMPLES.
