Tell the government what you think of their proposed funding formula The deadline for the government's consultation on the new National Funding Formula is this THURSDAY 22 MARCH. If you haven't already, then please do take 10 minutes to respond. You can use the on-line survey on the Department for Education website. Don't worry about all the questions. It's long, techy and complicated. Save yourself some bother and go to our easy-to-use guide to show you which 3 questions to answer and some model answers to use with each. SHARE our petition - help us get to 30k Of course, we will be putting in a response on behalf of the campaign. The more supporters we can point to the better, so please do SHARE our petition - and get just 5 other people this week to do the same. We're at 25k ... that's fantastic. Can we get to 30k by Thursday? 3. Write to your local paper and/or MP This campaign is about a lot more than the National Funding Formula. This is about the impact of the government's funding squeeze that affects EVERY school in the country. Tinkering with the National Funding Formula while leaving the total budget unchanged will not help anyone. So we need to press that point home every which way we can.
