The Russian ballet company, Royal Classical Entertainment/Moscow State Ballet, is planning two performances in Lund and Gothenburg in February 2025. They have named the production Grand Ukrainian Ballet.

However, there is nothing Ukrainian about this ballet. Swedish media outlet Sydsvenskan has reported on the issue:

Screenshots from the ballet company’s websites and hosting information show that the homepage for Grand Ukrainian Ballet shares the same IP address as Royal Classical Entertainment. This clearly suggests an intentional attempt to mislead both the venues and audiences.

The founder of the Moscow State Ballet, Titova, is a key figure in this context. A screenshot is included showing the announcement of an event at the Russian Army Theater.

The performances are scheduled for February 1–2, 2025. All of this information has been shared with the concert venues in Lund and Gothenburg, yet there has been no confirmation on whether they will cancel the shows.

Let’s stop Royal Classical Entertainment/Moscow State Ballet/Julius Productions from taking the stage in February! Share this petition and urge the concert venues to reconsider hosting this deceptive production.
