If Russia wins election to the U.N. Human Rights Council, in the October 2023 vote at the General Assembly, this will dangerously legitimize and empower the murderous and oppressive regime of Vladimir Putin.

Sadly, Putin's Russia has won election numerous times to the U.N.'s highest human rights body, serving from 2006 to 2009, from 2010 to 2012, from 2014 to 2016, and from 2021 to 2022, until its membership was suspended.

Take a stand: Urge world leaders to declare that they will vigorously oppose the Russian regime's absurd bid to join the world's top human rights body.
