STOP! Rother District Council from removing flower beds from Bexhill Cemetery

STOP! Rother District Council from removing flower beds from Bexhill Cemetery
The Issue
Bexhill Cemetery was created in 1900 and covers 34 acres. A pretty place with lots of wild life, tall trees and a small Chapel.
The council (RDC) are planning to grass over flower beds in the lovely Garden of Remembrance. They say this is due to cuts.
This is an absolute travesty and must not be allowed to happen. Bees and other wildlife will be also be affected, they need flowers.
We cannot allow the council to do this. People are already very upset and angry at this new plan. The garden should be a peaceful and pretty place to sit and reflect on loved ones, with flower beds.
For the sake of every one who has their loved ones buried there and those who like to sit in the garden and remember them please join me in saying NO to grassing over the beds. Thank you
