Dear Mr Andjelkovic

Re: Hoxton Park Road, Banks Road to Cowpasture Road Upgrade – Request for status of design investigation

I refer to your email of 13 March 2021, seeking an update of the Transport for NSW (TfNSW) proposed Hoxton Park Road upgrade from Banks Road to Cowpasture Road.

TfNSW, Council and the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) have jointly funded an integrated study for the Liverpool City Centre to the Western Sydney Airport (WSA) Rapid Transit corridor.

Among others, the study is investigating uniform design principles for the corridor and will, once completed, make a recommendation on the provision of bus lanes within the corridor.

It is expected that TfNSW and Council will use the study recommendations in the design work needed for the Hoxton Park Road and Fifteenth Avenue upgrades.

It is expected that the study will be completed in the next four to five months.

Should you require any further information on this matter, please contact Charles Wiafe, Acting Manager Planning and Transport Strategy via email wiafec@liverpool.nsw.gov.au.

Yours sincerely

David Smith

A/Director City Economy and Growth

It looks like we have to wait until August for any further developments.
