Firstly I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and for making our voices heard. WOW in less than 5 days we have received 21700 signatures which is outstanding and definitely shows that the public feels as passionately about Go Via's massive unexplainable fees as I do. Today we had a little win as Go Via sent out a "new and improved" statement structure with tips on how to avoid some fees, this is a step in the right direction but definitely not enough. Below are a few of the things I think need to change. 1) Go Via's administration fees are to large and need to be reduced. There is no explanation as to why the $22.74 fee is needed, surely a letter in the mail can't cost $22.74! 2) A text message to customers if video matching has been needed as it is an indication that there is an error with the customers tag or account just as they do to tell customers to top up. 3) Go Via need to change their debt collection structure. A $1.61 toll should never be able to reach a fee of $219 in late fees and Sper fees this is the problem that is leaving many Australians thousands in debt over only a handful of tolls. 4) Go Via should never have the power to suspend anyone's licence. Please keep sharing this petition to as many people as you can, the power of the people is strong and together we can make a difference.
