I had an interesting discussion with a Gen Z neighbour.  Since he was new to the neighbourhood I asked if he was going to sign the petition. He gave me an update on Gentrification, and that I, a baby boomer, should just get with the program (progress).  Either he had not read the petition, was poorly informed or had a questionable vocabulary.  What is being proposed in West Hillhurst is degentrification.  I gave up on educating Gen Z and went back to chipping ice.
